David Beckham recently shared a touching revelation about his wife, Victoria Beckham.

Looking back on their marriage, which will celebrate 25 years on July 4, the iconic footballer disclosed that he knew Victoria was the one for him from the moment he first laid eyes on her.

Speaking to The Sun, David recalled seeing Victoria for the first time in a Spice Girls music video and confiding in his Manchester United teammate Gary Neville that he was determined to be with her.

“I always said that once I met Victoria, I would always be with her. A few months before we actually met, I was away with the England team. Gary Neville and I were in a hotel room and a Spice Girls video came on,” David reminisced.

“I believe it was ‘Say You’ll Be There.’ I pointed at the screen and told him, ‘That’s the girl for me and I’m going to get her.’ It was her eyes, her face. She’s my idea of perfection,” he added.

Victoria shared a similar sentiment about David, revealing, “I fancied David long before we met. I remember doing an interview for a soccer magazine and they showed me photos of different footballers. I had no idea who he was, but I just remember thinking one word: Gorgeous.”
