Courtney Love bashes Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lana Del Rey and Madonna | Pro Hub of News

Courtney Love has stirred controversy by expressing her negative opinions about several renowned artists, including Taylor Swift, Madonna, Beyoncé, and Lana Del Rey.

In a recent interview with Evening Standard, the singer shared her thoughts on her fellow musicians. She began by discussing Taylor Swift, calling her “not important” and suggesting that while she may provide a safe space for girls and could be considered the current Madonna, she finds Swift uninteresting as an artist.

Love also mentioned her dislike for Madonna’s work, noting their mutual animosity: “I don’t like her, and she doesn’t like me.” However, she did express admiration for Madonna’s film “Desperately Seeking Susan,” albeit more for its portrayal of New York City than for Madonna herself.

Beyoncé didn’t escape Love’s criticism either, with Love stating that she simply doesn’t enjoy Beyoncé’s music. Despite this, Love did appreciate the concept of Beyoncé’s latest album “Cowboy Carter,” particularly its exploration of Black women entering spaces previously dominated by white women.

Adding to her list of disapproval, Love suggested that Lana Del Rey “should really take seven years off.” She explained that she stopped enjoying Lana’s music after a particular cover song and had to avoid listening to Lana while recording her own album to prevent too much influence.

Overall, Love criticized female music artists for producing a lot of similar-sounding music and expressed her preference for more diverse and unique musical styles.
