The news of the show’s return follows Disney’s public announcement about the reboot, set to release this Fall. According to Deadline, the series will undergo some changes. It will be re-titled as “Wizards,” and both Selena Gomez and David Henrie will return as executive producers. Selena will also make a guest appearance, while David will be a full-time cast member.

The original “Wizards of Waverly Place” ran for four seasons and centered around a family of wizards.
