SAG-AFTRA angrily reacts to Taylor Swift AI nudes | Pro Hub of News
Recently, Taylor Swift’s AI-generated sexually explicit photos spread rapidly across social media platforms. The images sparked widespread condemnation. SAG-AFTRA, the actors’ union, released a statement addressing the issue, denouncing the deepfake images as “upsetting, harmful, and deeply concerning.”
The union emphasized the urgent need for legal measures against the development and dissemination of fake images, especially those of a lewd nature, without consent. They stressed that society must take action promptly to control these technologies before irreparable harm is done.
The controversial photos depicted the Grammy winner wearing a Kansas City Chiefs outfit in compromising positions, intensifying the public outcry. SAG-AFTRA had previously advocated for safeguards against artificial intelligence in their strike demands.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella also weighed in on the issue, expressing the necessity for action. He emphasized the importance of creating a safe online environment for both content creators and consumers, stressing the need for swift progress in addressing the challenges posed by AI-generated content.
