Kate Middleton’s admirers received disappointing news as Buckingham Palace disclosed details of the State Visit by the Emperor and Empress of Japan to the United Kingdom.

The palace announced that the Emperor and Empress of Japan will undertake a State Visit from Tuesday, June 25th to Thursday, June 27th, 2024, as guests of King Charles. The visit will be hosted at Buckingham Palace.

Prince William, representing the King, will greet the Emperor and Empress at their hotel on Tuesday morning, although Kate Middleton will not be accompanying him. Notably, Prince Charles will escort their Majesties to Horse Guards Parade for a Ceremonial Welcome, where they will be formally received by the King and Queen at the Royal Pavilion.

Kate Middleton, who has been undergoing cancer treatment and recently appeared at Trooping the Colour, will apparently not participate in the events marking the Emperor and Empress of Japan’s State Visit.
