Kate Middleton fails to confirm Wimbledon appearance as tournament starts today | Pro Hub of News

The attendance of Princess Kate Middleton at Wimbledon this year remains uncertain as the tournament begins today.

Known for her avid support of the All England Club since 2016 and her own passion for tennis, Princess Kate has traditionally had the honor of presenting the prestigious trophy to the tournament winner in recent years.

However, her current health concerns related to cancer treatment have reportedly caused uncertainty about her presence. According to Mirror, Kate’s health team has advised her to rest after participating in Trooping the Colour.

Last month, she surprised royal watchers by making a public appearance on June 15 at Prince Charles’ official birthday celebration alongside her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

While Kensington Palace clarified that Kate is not resuming full royal duties, she is expected to undertake a small number of engagements this summer.

Debbie Jevans, chair of the All England Club, previously mentioned to the Telegraph that they are providing Kate with as much flexibility as possible regarding her potential attendance at Wimbledon.

As the tournament commences today, whether Princess Kate will attend remains uncertain.
