Angelina Jolie made a striking appearance at the 2024 Tony Awards held at Lincoln Center’s David H. Koch Theater in New York City, showcasing a bold new tattoo. The actress and producer of “The Outsiders” graced the red carpet in an elegant light-teal Atelier Versace velvet gown, accentuated with a matching shrug.

Jolie, 49, sported a subtle new tattoo resembling a small sparrow-like bird just above the gown’s sweetheart neckline. Accompanying her was her 15-year-old daughter Vivienne, who coordinated with her mother in a teal vest, pants, and bow tie ensemble over a crisp white shirt.

At the Tony Awards, Jolie’s musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s 1967 novel “The Outsiders,” where Vivienne served as the producer’s assistant, garnered an impressive 12 nominations. Jolie herself won her inaugural Tony Award for co-producing the acclaimed musical.

During the event, Jolie also took the stage to introduce a performance featuring renditions of iconic songs from “The Outsiders” musical, such as “Tulsa ’67” and “Grease Got a Hold.”

“The Outsiders” musical adaptation explores the poignant themes of class conflicts between the working-class greasers and the affluent Socs, centered around the Curtis brothers — Ponyboy, Darrel, and Sodapop ‘Soda’ — and their friends navigating life after the loss of their parents.
