In her rom-com role, Anne played Solène, who falls for boy band member Hayes Campbell (played by Nicholas Galitzine). The character of Hayes sparked comparisons to One Direction members, but Anne explained in an interview with Stellar that author Robinne Lee denied any connection to Harry Styles. During auditions, they sought the essence of Hayes Campbell’s character, regardless of nationality, and Nicholas Galitzine embodied that, making Hayes British in the film.
