Sydney Sweeney and Johnny Depp have teamed up for an exciting new project set against a supernatural backdrop. The Euphoria actress, known for her roles in horror and thriller films, has recently gained success with the romcom Anyone But You and the upcoming horror flick Immaculate.

According to entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider, Sweeney, 26, and the legendary 60-year-old Depp will collaborate on a new movie titled Day Drinker. Directed by Marc Webb, known for films like The Amazing Spiderman and 500 Days of Summer, the film will delve into themes of love, friendship, and revenge, focusing on the relationship between an enigmatic stranger (Depp) and a grief-stricken bartender (Sweeney) coping with the loss of her partner.

This project marks a significant step for Depp since his legal victory in 2021 against Amber Heard and his departure from the Pirates of the Caribbean and Fantastic Beasts franchises.
