Nicki Minaj calls off New Orleans’s concert for worrying reasons | Pro Hub of News

Nicki Minaj had to cancel her scheduled Pink Friday Tour 2 concert at The Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Monday, March 18, due to illness. The Smoothie King Center announced on Instagram that Nicki Minaj was advised by her doctors to reschedule the show because she was still unwell and they didn’t want to risk spreading illness to others.

A spokesperson for the venue informed Fox 8 about the cancellation, stating that Nicki Minaj had been battling the flu for several days. Despite pushing through for the Rolling Loud festival on Friday, her condition worsened afterward, leading to the cancellation of the New Orleans concert.

Nicki Minaj herself shared a message on social media on March 15, asking her fans for healing energy as she felt unwell but fortunately did not have Covid. She is currently on the North American leg of her Pink Friday Tour 2, which started on March 1 in Oakland, California, and is set to conclude on May 13 in Oklahoma City. The European leg of the tour will commence shortly after, with shows across various countries until July 12, 2024.
