Taylor Swift’s album “Tortured Poets Department” continues to dominate the Billboard 200 chart, maintaining its number one position for 11 consecutive weeks.

According to Billboard, the 34-year-old singer-songwriter achieved her 11th week at the top with her latest album, released in April 2024. This ties her previous records set by “1989” and “Fearless,” both of which also spent 11 weeks at number one.

The album’s feat was highlighted in the July 13 edition of the Billboard 200. If Swift’s album remains at number one, it will surpass her previous longest consecutive streak at the top of the albums chart.

Currently, Carole King holds the record for the longest consecutive run atop the Billboard 200 by a female solo artist with her album “Tapestry.”

Billboard also noted that if “Tortured Poets Department” continues its reign for another week after debuting at the top on May 4, Taylor Swift will be the first woman since Adele, who spent 24 nonconsecutive weeks at number one with “21” in 2011 and 2012, to spend at least 12 weeks at number one.
