Taylor Swift’s alleged stalker, identified as David Crowe, has been arrested for the third time within the past week. According to police sources reported by the New York Post on Wednesday, Crowe was handcuffed after complaints were received about him engaging in dumpster diving across the street from the singer’s residence in Tribeca.
An eyewitness shared details, stating, “I just saw him digging through this dumpster, taking out some blankets, and then he just went and sat down on the loading dock a few doors down [from Swift’s apartment].”
This latest arrest follows a Manhattan judge releasing him on supervised release earlier in the week. Crowe was initially charged with stalking and harassment on Monday after neighbors raised concerns about his presence in the area.
The first arrest occurred when a neighbor reported a “disorderly person” on Franklin Street last Saturday. Upon arrival, law enforcement was informed that the individual attempted to open a door to a building at the location. A public information officer stated, “Upon arrival, police were informed that the individual attempted to open a door to a building at the location.”
One neighbor mentioned that the suspect was attempting to enter Taylor Swift’s residence, stating, “My husband asked what he was doing here and he said, ‘I want to see Taylor.’ He even had flowers at one point.”
